This image represent the crystal merchant and Santiago because they sell crystals. The crystal are really important to them. Also how santiago is leaving from the crystal merchant and Santiago was a really good helper for the crystal merchant. Santiago helped him sell the crystals.

Marlene, I like how you mentioned that crystals are really important to the Crystal merchant, but I'm not sure that they are really important to Santiago. Doesn't Santiago leave the crystal merchant and the shop behind? Do you think he ever returns to them? Also, what else could the crystals represent...what deeper meaning could they have?
